Heroes Of Freedom Farm

Restoration America, through its 100 acre farm in Crete, IL (Heroes of Freedom Farm) provides day/overnight retreats where Veterans suffering from PTSD, TBI and other readjustment struggles can enjoy non-clinical, recreational and other therapeutic activities aimed at assisting with their physical, mental and spiritual recovery. Our equine assisted activities are geared so veterans can begin to identify and cope with feelings, build communication skills, set boundaries, overcome fears and regain trust.

We have both indoor and outdoor space for self-care programs such as: yoga, healthy cooking classes, meditation practices, and dance and art expression. Since 2015, we have impacted over 160 Veterans. 85% are return attendees proving they are receiving benefits/relief.

All programs are free to Veterans.
